Today's Delight

~Your Ministry, Our Ministry~

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other" John 15:16-17

During my devotion time this morning, it occurred to me through my reading of, "Heaven Calling" that all of us have a ministry. We are all called to minister to each other. Every person is a gift from God to learn from, care for and
 minister to.

What does it mean to minister? What I came up with is as follows-
To Minister is to contribute to, give service to, care for, or aid to the wants or necessities of others.

We all have "others" in our lives. If we all ministered to one another, what a world it would be.

Today as you approach each person along your path, ask God to show you the ways in which you can minister to them. Above all, Love them!

Shelli, It is late, and I am tired from a long tennis meeting,so I will keep this short. Just wanted to say that I thought your delight was just so simple and beautiful. Boy, it just "cuts to the chase", and you're so right--if we ALL could just do that, that a wonderful world this would be. Let's all try--one person at a time. Thanks so much, as always, for your beautiful words.
